Frequently Asked Questions

Where are your clients located?

Our office is in Salt Lake City and we serve physicians across the United States. We are currently accepting new clients only from physicians who live in — or are relocating to — Utah. Meetings are typically conducted by phone or video to fit your clinical schedule, with in-person meetings available locally.

Do I need a referral to become a client?

Yes. We accept new clients by referral from a current client only. When you reach out, please include the name of the client who referred you so we can confirm the connection.

I'm a resident about to start as an attending — when should I reach out?

As early as possible — ideally before you sign your first contract. The entity and compensation decisions you make in year one have long-term tax consequences that are much harder to unwind later.

Can you help if I have both W-2 and 1099 income?

Absolutely — this is one of the most common situations for physicians. We handle blended income structures including hospital employment, locum tenens, moonlighting, and practice ownership all in one return, including multi-state filings where needed.

Do you offer year-round support or only during tax season?

Year-round. The best physician tax strategies require action well before December 31st. We proactively reach out throughout the year so you're never caught off guard.
